Forms to water authority

Applications relating to the trade and variation of water entitlements are to be lodged with your water authority using uniquely pre-numbered, approved forms.

Forms for trade of allocation may be downloaded below. These forms must be printed on white A4 paper, in portrait format, using black ink on a high-quality printer. Submission instructions are provided on the forms.

Form 3 is not intended for use when land is being sub-divided and sold with a water entitlement. If you are transferring or subdividing your land, please contact your water authority for advice on the application forms you will need to complete any water share transaction.

Applications relating to the transfer of a water share (Form 1, Form 3 or Form 10) must be submitted with the water share owner identification form available below:

If you wish to apply to associate a water share with land (using either Form 9 or Form 7) and you are not recorded as the owner of the water-use licence covering that land you must also submit the form below:
