Victorian Water Register fees for some applications to trade water will increase from Monday 2 November 2009, subject to Governor-in-Council approval.
The increases apply to fees charged when application forms are submitted to water corporations for approval to trade allocation and for a range of water share transactions.

The fees have changed following:
- Annual increases for inflation (this change has been held over from 1 July 2009); and
- A regulatory impact statement process to allow recovery of costs of processing applications.
If water corporations receive applications on or after 2 November 2009 with the old fee, they will return them to applicants and ask them to resubmit with the new fee.
